Our Story
While P&L Electric is one of today’s most trusted partners in planning, designing, installing, and servicing the electrical needs of commercial properties across Colorado’s Front Range, we came from humble beginnings. Our company was founded in 2005 by two career tradesmen, Michael Cantral and Bert Lahaie, who both had extensive experience in service work and design/build electrical projects. They both shared strong work ethics and passions for their trades, and they sought to establish a company that was grounded in real relationships and commitment to high-quality service.
As our company grew, we took great care in selecting only the most personable and highly qualified technicians to join the team. Jason Hertz and Sean Mayo were two of the first employees at P&L Electric and have contributed greatly to the growth of our organization over the years. As Mike and Bert approached their retirement, they wanted to ensure that their company would live on through professional individuals who are just as passionate about the work as they have been. Sean and Jason saw the opportunity to keep P&L going as a family-owned business and transitioned into new roles as owners.
Today, P&L Electric is a strong and well-established commercial and industrial electrical contractor that has expanded throughout Colorado and the rest of the United States.
